Whose reality is it really?

When you look in the mirror first thing in the morning, what goes through your mind?, What are the first words spoken in thought?. Are they positive reinforcements of the wonderful being that you truly are?, or are they negative, unhelpful thoughts that sabotage your self confidence and self worth.
Do we really see what we think we see?. Too often I hear comments from female clients (and let’s not exclude men here either) that make me stop and think, what exactly are these girls seeing when they look in the mirror?. Their descriptions are so far off the reality that I myself are seeing.
That made me stop and question ” is the reality I’m seeing real for others”?. How often do we create an image in our mind that is quite distorted from reality. Why then do we have this warpt perception of self?.
No matter how close we get to that perfect body, perfect face, perfect hair, perfect job, perfect life, the reality is, we are never really happy with what we see.
When we workout hard and put in everything we have into our workouts, we do it with positive thoughts, knowing that this workout will get us one step closer to where we want to be. This is the mindset we need to be in all the time. The one that tells us, we are worthy of achieving goals, of achieving PB’S, of achieving strength and wellness and of achieving anything we put our minds to.
Focus daily on the positive things you are doing. No matter how big or small they are, they are one step closer to where you want to be. Celebrate each days accomplishments. Whether it’s as simple as making sure you did something for you, or finished that assignment or completed that workout. Always focus on the positive outcomes in each day. That way you create a reality of positivity.
