What we are doing to keep you safe!
The safety of our members, staff and community its what’s important. We have always been dedicated to delivering a clean, healthy way of living, and by following a carefully planned approach from all our team members, we are re-opening our doors to you!
Cleaning protocols
- We maintain stringent sanitising protocols for proper disinfecting operation and maintenance, and have updated our procedures even dieter to achieve a new level of cleanliness.
- Schedule disinfection of high-touch surfaces throughout the gym
- Cleaning and sanitising of the gym will occur twice a day. For this reason, we have had to make adjustment to our opening hours to allow for a deep clean overnight.
Hygiene practices
- Easily, readily available disinfectant spray
- Hand sanitising stations has been placed in the entrances of the gym for you to sanitise your hands upon entry – we also encourage to practice hand washing hygiene protocols upon entering and leaving the facility.
- All clients are required to wipe down surfaces and equipment before and after use. Disinfecting sprays and clothes are available on the gym floor. Please throw used clothes in the bin and not on the floor.
- Using a full body towel is compulsory, and must be placed between you and the benches bike seats, mats and so on. There is a new “ no towel no workout policy “ for all clients.
- To comply with government regulations and ensure the highest level of safety all our staff have completed Australian Government COVID-19 Infection control training module prior to recommencing work.
Safety Measures
To comply with the government regulations all members must be wearing a mask when entering and exiting the facility, unless working out.
At this stage we are limited to a number of 20 people per building at any one time. And a maximum of 10 people per class [excluding staff]
We have created two entrances and redesigned the gym into zones to allow capacity and safety of members who are entering the facility.
For example if you are booked in for a Cardio Zone or Gym Floor Zone you will enter the facility from the rear of the gym opposite the hotel entrance where you will scan in via our QR code app, to use simply open your phone as if taking a photo and hold camera over QR code, a link will appear at top of screen, open and fill in your name email and tick the two questions and submit. Please although we have booked in a 60 minute allocated workout, please be ready to leave after 55min to allow for the clean and next group to access.
If you are booked in for Personal Training Zone or Group Fitness Class you will enter the facility from the main gym entrance as per usual.
- Cardio Zone – for use of all members and personal training clients
- Gym Floor Zone – for use of all members and personal training clients
- Personal Training Zone – Personal trainers and clients
- Group Fitness Zone – All groups fitness classes
Please note once you are booked in the gym area you must stay in that zone, you cannot go to another zone with-out being booked in.
At this stage, we are limited to a maximum of 20 people at any one time, and a 8 square metre rule to maintain social distance applies. A maximum number of participants for each zone has been designated – and staff will also be monitoring this.
All members must pre book their visit. This is essential to comply with government entrance limits of 20 people maximum at any given time. Please note, that if you have not booked a time, you will not be permitted entry into the gym.
Showers are NOT currently available to use. We ask that you enter and leave in your gym attire.
To prevent congestion and gathering, we ask you to limited locker use, in place there is a storage portable which is located on the gym floor for member use. All group fitness can bring their bags upstairs to classes.

Remember if you are unable to book a class you need to register your email. If you are still unable to register please call kore wellness on 8382 1838 or 0422 334 114 and ensure your email address is up to date and linked on our system.
To comply with contact tracing requirements, all members MUST scan in and register themselves with our QR code – all members must also have their membership tags – if you do not have your tag you must purchase one from reception prior to entering kore wellness.
To facilitate fair access for all members, we have set a 55 minute maximum time limit for your visit. In consideration of your fellow members, we ask that you arrive and leave on time, honouring your 55 minute time slot to allow others who have booked to enter the gym at their reserved time. Unfortunately if you arrive late, we will not be able to extend your use of gym time as this will affect someone else’s opportunity to use the gym during their reserved time.
Please be mindful of your gym class time start also, if you are late we will not be able to keep the class waiting. Doors are locked so your instructor will be letting everyone in at once and will not be able to come back down for late comers, again you can try and call 8382 1838 and if a staff member is free you may get in but aim to arrive 5 min before class starts
Other things to know
- If you are feeling unwell or display any symptoms of COVID -19, please do not come to the gym. Please be considered of others stay home, and get tested.
- Children to comply with government requirements of a maximum of 20 people [excluding staff] being allowed in the gym at any given time, and in the interest of client care, we ask that children not to bought into the gym at this stage.
- Should there be any change to government requirements, we will communicate these directly to you as soon as they are known.
